Similar to the objet trouve or 'found art', this collection of photographs, all taken on tube platforms around London, explores the aesthetical logic of unintentionally layered poster advertisement. The accidental fragmentation of different advertisements leads to an apparently chaotic composition, which in fact follows a certain rhythm. The outcome are visually powerful and beautiful images, which sometimes strongly remind me of Gerhard Richter's 'Cage paintings'.
